The Heroes of Normandie foam kit will hold the entire game's contents. The foam kit will fit perfectly inside the box. It's a great way to protect and organize all of the game pieces. The game board tiles and rule books can be safely stored at the bottom of the box under the foam kit.
(Please note that because of the size of the game contents, the foam trays will not allow the game box lid to completely close flush. The top box lid will sit about 1/4 inch higher than normal due to the trays being placed inside with the board game pieces.)

- 1x 1 inch (25 mm) thick tray with 20x 3/4 x 3/4 inch (20 x 20 mm) cut outs, 9x 1 x 1 1/4 inch (25 x 32 mm) cut outs, 11x 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 inch (32 x 32 mm) cut outs, 6x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch (38 x 38 mm) cut outs, 1x 2 1/4 x 2 inch (57 x 50 mm) cut out, 2x 1 1/4 x 2 inch (32 x 50 mm) cut outs and 2x 2 x 3 1/2 inch (50 x 76 mm) cut outs.

A better configuration ????
Quality and material are excellent but my rating goes no more than 3 because there are too few spaces sized for the units "fire" "recon" etc (similar size) . If there were enough spaces to get divided these units by type the rating would have been 5 . Battle Foam says: Thank you very much for your great comments. This kit is designed to fit the board game pieces as efficiently as possible and the design does cater to the expansions for the game. With board game kits, we only have as much room as the box allows. We offer custom trays if a different design is required and/or the need is to fit additional models than what is in the core board game. Thanks again!
