I am very satisfied with this purchase. Wanting a portable way to transport a troop based small to medium army for regular sized games I would recommend you consider the Ammo box bag with medium magna rack tray system. The bag itself, like all bags in the battle foam range, is of sturdy design and has a quality feel to it. The two side pockets are a generous size for dice, tape measures etc to fit into, while the larger of the 2 front pocket is big enough to fit a couple of rule books. The carrying handle feels secure when lifting a full load and the bag also comes with a shoulder strap with quality clasps for ease of attachment as required. The rounded feet together with the dimpled rivets on the top of the bag will allow secure stacking of multiple bags should this be required. Eight Interior pockets on the flap of the bag will also allow playing card size card storage. Having previously only used foam storage solutions I was keen to move to a magnetised tray system. Many newer models in recent years have become more intricate and at the same time delicate and I wanted to avoid the possible damage that can occur with tightly packed models in non custom cut foam or the time consuming process of unpacking and packing them. The medium tray stack was easy to assemble and the removable tray has a fluid movement. It can be completely removed and is readily hand held to move models to the tabletop. The provided 3 tray heights of 2, 3 and 4 inches offers flexibility in the types of models you can store and in my opinion the best generic load out Battle Foam could have provided given the compact 9 inches total clearance. One tray has a footprint large enough to store up to 50 models with a 32mm base size (potentially 150 models in total). The 2 inch height tray can hold standard size infantry upright, while those with heroic poses and raised weapons will need to slot in at 3 inches. Larger banners, heroes and smaller vehicles can fit in the 4 inch section, although tray footprint is quickly occupied by around 3 medium vehicles and this is still insufficient clearance room for some with aerials/spikes/guns. The modular nature means you could vary the height between trays with the purchase of additional leg supports available in any combination up to 9 inches height, although if you have a similar model count with a few taller models you might look at the small magna rack tray system standard load out which gives a 5 inch tray or the large magna rack system if you have multiple models with a larger height and footprint. I would recommend you spend some time considering what the best load out would be for your magnetised army and ensure you buy in sufficient rare earth magnets to meet your magnetising needs.
