    Fun

Posted by Unknown on 21st May 2015

I bought this with the express intention of storing my X-Wing miniatures, and for that it does a great job. This set covers all of the ships that I either have, or intend to get, and it's remarkably satisfying dropping each ship into its assigned cut-out. It also keeps everything safer, and in a much more compact space, than my previous rather poor storage solution. The foam is good quality, the cutting perfect, and it should last for some time. My only issue is that I could have done with a guide for which game sundries go in which slot on the accessories foam tray. I've just fudged it, and pretty much everything fits in somewhere. Mostly. It also arrived pretty quickly. I didn't keep an exact count, but it was dispatched very quickly, and delivered soon after.

Great quality with plenty of room

Posted by Luke Green on 29th Apr 2014

Very happy with my foam. The spaces for the ships are quite deep, but this could allow for additional ships to be stored. Ships fit like a glove. The supplement tray has a number of spaces for storage. I, personally, store all my cards in a separate binder, this leave plenty of space for the multitude of additional tokens I have accrued. My current collection comprises of 1 x Millennium Falcon, 1 x Slave 1, 2 x x-wings, 3 x tie fighters, 1 x tie advanced, 2 x tie interceptors, 1 x shuttle, 1 x tie bomber and 1 x Hwk-290. There is plenty of room for more. Arrived about 14 days after ordering.

    Not quite what I expected

Posted by Jacco Versteeg on 10th Apr 2014

I received the ordered trays the other day, about 2 months after the initial expected date. Upon trying to add my models and sundry to the trays, I encountered the following issues: - some of the cutouts are rather tight (I'm particularly worried about my B-wings) - all cutouts for the small ships are very deep, making it harder to retrieve them. - the supplement tray has no space to hold the large ship bases (!) - The supplement tray has no room to organise all tokens, ship bases, dials etc. The cutouts for the large ships are good, and in general the trays do help me to organise my game. But on the whole, I had a lot higher expectations which weren't met.
