(Cryx) Kraken Colossal Foam Tray (PP.5-6)

Fits very snug but my kraken is well anchored since I used fake water and a custom swamp base to make sure of it so I've no or problem with snug but can see a issue there wig others. Would benefit a few extra mm of the edge to help other people. The box in general is good the foam is sturdy and was shipped very quickly and customer service great.

I loved the layout of the tray, and after test fitting without the base I found it to protect the Kraken nicely. However, the tray is way too tight and with the Kraken's tiny attachment points this can spell disaster. I measured the tray and found it to be about 5mm too tight at the top and even tighter near the seam between the two foam blocks. I was told all the trays were like this, so be careful =/ For a nice alternative tray, I can recommend the Wraith Engine tray. I can fit my Kraken in it without hassle =p

Love the half depth pluck foam, and does allow flexibility with poses. One small issue is the base seems to get stuck where the pluck and normal foam meet. Other than that; highly recommended.

Fantastic way to safely store an expensive and awkwardly shaped model. Pick and pluck part is not the full depth of the tray giving better stability and the tray is deep enough to allow great flexibility in posing the kraken and it's massive cannon and tentacles.
