(Custom) Custom Battle Foam Large Foam Tray (BFL)

The generic cut outs you can request are necessarily broad enough to accommodate almost any pose. While flexible, this does result in a loose fit for some models. Nonetheless, there is no better transport solution for your models than a custom tray. Battle Foam will even chop down the cut-outs to makes spacers if you want; allowing you to combine large and small miniatures in the same tray without leaving the smaller miniatures too deeply recessed.

The custom cut foam board I ordered was delivered exactly as promised, top quality. Customer service was also exceptional, the only negative was that delivery (due to production as well as postage) took a bit of time (almost a month). However, the product itself was exemplary!

This idea of being able to design a tray, have it made and have it delivered to you is fantastic. I've only ordered 1 so far, but it was exactly as I wanted it. Now my next 4 are all designed and I'm just waiting for the funds to buy them :-) A word of warning - Make sure you check all your measurements thoroughly, otherwise you may end up with a useless piece of foam

Great Tray, only slight issue is with the Hive Tyrant which is a bit tight, but with a bit of encouragement it slots in. I have an older metal GW HT model and I'm guessing that it would probably be fine for the newer plastic version.

to design my own bag i spent months, and many times i was tempted to resign and simply buy many bags more little in the end, the result was almost perfect, with difference of few millimeters (always round up) to my measures my only regret is that a pair of foams are too soft for the weight i put on them, and i should have asked for a thicker bottom, so i will have to reinforce it by myself

This is not the first custom tray. and not the last. The Foam has a perfect fit, is very good and stable.

I made a very "special snowflake" order and BF was able to accommodate my every whim. If I could, I'd dock half a star because I think the foam could be a little softer. But the customizeability and the skill of BF's deisgn crew are second to none.

This isn't the first custom tray I've ordered from Battlefoam and it won't be the last. This one was for my new Storm Eagle and some converted models. The custom designer's fun to use and really makes the product personal. The only thing that stopped this getting the full 5 stars was the slightly too snug fit for the Storm Eagle - I can see some paint rubbing off there unless I'm careful.

I'm not sure why I haven't had more of my trays made by battlefoam before. The custom designer is easy to use, with clear visuals so you already know what your tray looks like before you get it. The foam itself is denser than many other model trays and its clear that any models you put in there will be well protected. Yes it may be a bit pricy, but when you factor in that you get the tray you want thats made to such high quality it feels like a bit of a bargin.
